Aksara Cakra Research and Consulting (ACRC) is opening internship opportunities for students and early-career professionals who want real exposure to policy research and strategic analysis in Indonesia. Interns will work directly with our researchers on practical tasks—tracking and summarizing current developments, supporting literature reviews, helping build datasets, and assisting the drafting of short commentaries, policy briefs, and working papers across politics, defense and security, economics, and broader public policy. We’re looking for people who are curious, disciplined with sources, and comfortable writing clearly (Bahasa Indonesia and/or English). Statistician / Survey Coordinator
ACRC is hiring a Statistician / Survey Coordinator to lead the technical and field coordination side of our research projects. In this role, you will help design survey instruments, plan sampling and fieldwork operations, manage enumerator training and quality control, and oversee data cleaning and statistical analysis for policy-facing outputs. We’re looking for someone who is strong in applied statistics and comfortable working end-to-end—from questionnaire logic and sampling design to analysis and clear reporting. Experience with tools like R, Stata, SPSS, or Python is expected, and prior work coordinating survey teams or vendors is a major plus.
